After tomorrow, will you use Upton Park station again? Any need to go down Green St?
For all the pro's and cons of moving to the new stadium, which have been discussed here, it is what it is, and tomorrow will be the last pilgrimage.

I don't have any football in that area of London anymore, so from tomorrow, it is highly unlikely that I will have a need to experience Green Street / Upton Park Station ever again. Let's be frank; it's not the most salubrious area of London, and although it's part of the journey to the game, and barging past programme sellers, Queens regulars spilling out onto the streets and the intoxicating stench of horse shit and the market, its not something i'll miss.

Do any of you have family / friends, or work near the ground which mean you will still visit the vicinity?

Not over 70 - I'm 65 and it was OK in the 50s and 60s when as a kid my Mum and Dad shopped there.

No men in dresses, no sari shops, no burkas, no beggars, no street preachers, no halal butchers, no chicken shops, no wall to wall mussies.

That shit all came later starting in the 70s getting worse to the complete shithole is is today.

I won't miss it thatnks

yes, still go there before the home games next session. Get my curry (best veggie restraint in London) before heading to the new stadium.

People who moan about Green Street must be over 70 years old as in my lifetime its been the same and i have been going for 50 years.

As a football supporter I wouldn't want to live too close to our ground either.

I imagine it's even more annoying if you're not a supporter.

Did anyone see BBC London News last night where they interviewed locals in Green Street, and they had the usual collection of cunts saying how much they can't wait for West Ham to fuck off. Wankers.

Me mum lives in Forest Gate, I've occasionally got the tube to Upton Park and walked up when other routes have been up the spout.

There's a handful of half decent restaurants on Green St.

Probably won't ever go there again though tbh.

I am going to go there on before the first game of next season... just in case this is all a dream and we have not moved.

That Gold & Sullivan are proper wind up merchants !!

I doubt I will be in any fit state to say my farewell's tonight.

I'll be visiting the new mega mosque on the site that I'm co-funding (all this "affordable housing" stuff is just a ruse).

Yes often as I'm two streets away gonna be an empty event walking pass the ground once they knock it down, I even heard Nanthans is moving out to, so the last pieces of my local culture gone forever, I loved walking down green street and seeing our ground gonna miss the old slapper.

Used to walk to and from East Ham or Plaistow anyway, as I preferred walking to standing on a tube train.

If I'm not mobile, I prefer to be sitting.

Grew up around the streets of Upton Park and Plaistow so tonight is gonna be even more significant.

Family and friends have all moved all over the place so this will be the last real time. Might take the nippers over in later years. Then again as a few have said, some things are best left in the past.

No need to any longer once the club shifts to the OS, Green street has shit for many years plus I'm mono lingual and can only speak English.

I have no doubt many will pass it once just to see what it has become, if still on this earth.

Tears may flow though.

Grew up went to school in East Ham, but family all gone now so I guess tomorrow might be my last trip, Taking the Grandson so will have a bite to eat in Seafare Chippy in the High street, might have a quick pint, if not a slow walk to the Ground and will soak up the atmosphere. knowing that every time we sing Bubbles tomorrow could be the last time it rings out for real.
